Comparaison inter-laboratoires sur l’étalonnage d’une sonde de température (2022-2023)

Registration closed

Calibration of a temperature sensor

The temperature measurement system is including:

  • A PT100 temperature sensor
  • A digital indicator with a resolution of 0.01°C

Calibration by comparison

The preferred calibration method is the method by comparison with a standard temperature mesurement system. Each participant is free to choose the number of comparisons. The used procedure of the participant should be prefered.

The temperature measurement system would be calibrated at several temperature points: -20°C, 5°C, 20°C, 37°C et 105°C.

However, it is not mandatory to carry out all the calibration points if the means implemented by the participants do not allow it.

A detailed protocol will be provided to each participant at the beginning of the campaign.

Organization of the PT

Each laboratory will calibrate the temperature sensor within one week, according to its availability, previously communicated to the PT coordinator. The temperature sensor will circulate successively in the participating laboratories.
